About CSCA
Where Passion and Skill become Art.
CSCA has fast become a respected culinary and hospitality school. Our expertise, along with the ever-growing influence of our graduates,
is helping to set the bar for the future and beyond. Founded in 1994, the CSCA faculty includes highly respected, experienced chefs who have the
ability to turn out confident and successful graduates. We are part of a small percentage of culinary schools in America to partner
with internationally renowned Le Cordon Bleu - the leading authority on culinary techniques, training, and development for over a century.
CSCA offers the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu diplôme training through three different programs:
Associates of Occupational Studies Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts,
Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie & Baking Diplôme Program,
and Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality & Restaurant Management.
LA really cooks.
Our school is located in one of the most famous and dynamic areas of the nation - Los Angeles.
It's a multi-cultural, creative landscape that's produced nearly as many culinary trends as hit movies. In local farmers markets you might rub elbows
with celebrity chefs shopping for ingredients for their
signature dishes or looking for inspiration for their next TV food show segment. The surrounding
agricultural valleys produce some of the finest ingredients for our future chefs and hospitality managers: from the established wine industry in the
Santa Ynez Valley, to the organic farming movement in Ventura County, to the booming wine community in Temecula just south of LA. Few other cities
offer such a wealth of culinary and hospitality career opportunities, with a robust resort industry, high-profile restaurants, and catering to
members of the entertainment industry.
Facilities
Our Pasadena Campus, located in the historic Playhouse District, is only 20 minutes
from downtown Los Angeles and is the center of the School.
Excited, determined students flow through our hallways into our teaching/lecture kitchen labs and classrooms. Our labs feature industry-current commercial
equipment and are designed for maximum efficiency, usability and comfort. They offer a great proving ground to replicate the kind of fast-paced
environment our graduates can experience on the job. This building also houses our Learning Resource Center, an important facility for both students
and culinary professionals throughout Southern California, providing current information available to industry professionals.
This campus features our popular 561 Restaurant, where our students gain practical,
real-world experience while showing off their skills. This building also houses the informal School
Café and the Campus Cookstore.
